Easy steps to your New Kitchen
The 5 steps for an easy, enjoyable and satisfying kitchen design & installation
At your first consultation at our showroom or your home, our Villa Kitchens designer will discuss your kitchen ideas, style and layout. We want to ensure we have a thorough understanding of what you'd like to achieve.
It is important to make an appointment so our designer can schedule uninterrupted time to spend with you when taking a design brief. This design brief will typically take 45min, so we can ensure we have all the information needed to design a suitable kitchen plan that meets your budget.
At this first appointment, our designer will discuss layout options for your new kitchen and work through a wish list to help establish what features, finishes and appliances best suit your needs.
Our designer will also take you through the different cabinet and benchtop materials available, which will help you to establish a realistic budget for your project.
To prepare for this consultation please have any images saved of kitchen design inspiration you love and full out your wish list form. Link to wish list
We will email your new proposed kitchen 3D drawing design where you are free to make alterations to the layout. Once you confirm the kitchen design we proceed with the quote.
We will also supply you with samples of door and benchtop materials that you are planning to use within your new kitchen design.
Once you accept the quote and would like to move forward with your project, we request a deposit to secure your installation and will arrange for a site visit to take place.
The site visit is designed to ensure that the kitchen will perfectly fit your space, ensuring there are no surprises on the day of installation. Our designer will also be requesting details of your appliance choices if you have not already provided them. They will also discuss the various tradespeople that you will require, and the option of using your own tradespeople as opposed to Villa-recommended contractors.
Your designer will then contact you to make an appointment to visit the showroom for final colour choices and sign-off on your kitchen design plan and specifications.
They will discuss any minor alterations to be made from the visit, and record your final choice of materials, colours, appliances and accessories.
At this stage you will be allocated an installation date and your finalised plan will be sent through to our factory so that the kitchen building process can be commenced.
If you are using Villa-recommended tradespeople, they will make contact with you to discuss the work that may needed to be done both prior to and after the kitchen is installed.
Our team will phone you a week prior to your installation date to confirm you are ready and prepared for the installation to take place. The installation of the cabinets typically takes one to two days to complete.
If you have ordered a laminate benchtop, it will be fitted at the same time as the cabinets. Stone tops are templated on site after the cabinets are installed. Stone benchtops are installed 10 working days after template.
Once your kitchen installation is complete, our staff will conduct a quality audit with the of your new kitchen. They will carry out any necessary adjustments before final sign off with the owner.
Final payment is required on completion of project.
